Demo of Riddick Game Debuts on X Box Live

Today, Atari games announced that a sampler of the game "The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena" can now be downloaded on X Box Live.

Riddick is the highly anticipated sequel to 2004's "Escape From Butcher Bay" game. The sequel is being created by a Swedish group called Starbreeze Studios, who also developed the games "Enclave" and "The Darkness."

The events of the sequel game pick up right where the first installment left off. The main characters, Riddick and Johns, are recovered by an aircraft after floating through space.

The sampler on xbox displays the Athena Main Decks level and allows gamers to try out the drone control and Ulak combat. The full version of the game will hit shelves on April 7th.
