In the console wars, Wii vs PS3 is a common battle. Along with XBOX 360, these consoles dominate the market. We'll compare the two devices in this post.

With regard to hardware, PS3 has superior performance and computing power. Nintendo has tried to remove focus from Wii's lack of processing power, choosing to focus consumers' attention instead on its competitive price.

One area where Wii does win out is the controller of the console. The Wii motion-sensing controller is an innovative device unlike that of any other console, past or present.

Most gaming experts also credit PS3 with the best online-gaming plan. Wii has a limited number of games with an online-play option, and gamers can only play against members who have provided their "friends code" to them.
